Twickenham Library is a public lending library offering standard text and large print books, language courses, audiobooks, CDs and DVDs. The library offers free Wi-Fi and wired internet access and use of its People’s Network computers with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). A range of online encyclopaedias and dictionaries plus newspapers, business and family history databases are also available.
Twickenham Library also holds regular children’s events such as Tiny Teddies and Storytimes as well as cultural events and reading groups for adults.

Twickenham Riverside Walk

Exiled French Royals found refuge in “dear quiet Twick” where an octagonal garden pavilion was said to be designed for a Queen’s visit and a Palladian Villa was built for a royal mistress.

Meet at St Mary’s Church, Twickenham 15:00. £3.00 per person, please pay your guide on the day. Not suitable for wheelchair users.
