Teddington Library is a public lending library offering standard text and large print books, language courses, audiobooks, CDs and DVDs. The library offers free Wi-Fi and wired internet access and use of its People’s Network computers with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). A range of online encyclopaedias and dictionaries plus newspapers, business and family history databases are also available.
Teddington Library also holds regular children’s events such as Tiny Teddies and Storytimes as well as cultural events and reading groups for adults.

A look at the development of this unique and also the largest lock on the River Thames and some of the events that have taken place there, together with the stories of some of the river's more unusual and interesting characters. Ken Howe is a local historian, writer and speaker as well as the author of several books on Teddington History.
