Four Sisters: The lost lives of the Romanov Grand Duchesses by Helen Rappaport

  • 26 November — 26 October 2014

On 17 July 1918, four young women walked into the cellar of a house in Ekaterinburg. Together with their parents and their younger brother they were all brutally murdered. Their crime: to be the daughters of the last Tsar and Tsaritsa of All the Russias. Now acclaimed biographer Helen Rappaport puts the Romanov princesses centre stage and for the first time in almost a century the Grand Duchesses Olga, Tatiana, Maria and Anastasia are given a voice. Join award-winning historian Helen Rappaport as she paints a vivid picture of their journey from sheltered childhood to young womanhood.
