As Bracknell’s gateway to the arts, South Hill Park has been a centre for innovation in the arts since 1973. In a grade 2 listed 18th century mansion and gardens, people of all ages and tastes find something to enjoy.

100 Paintings in 100 Days³

Berkshire-based artist Harriet Brittaine will be embarking on her latest project 100 Paintings in 100 Days³ , which sees Brittaine painting a small still life or landscape every day for over three and a half months.

South Hill Park will be following the artist for the last two months of her project, displaying the new works as she paints them. There will be the opportunity to see the artist painting live at a series of demos between February and April and follow the start of the project on her daily blog or sign up to her daily update at

Harriet Brittaine teaches Life Drawing at South Hill Park and Oil painting and Life Drawing across Berkshire. She has exhibited across the UK and internationally and is Co-director of the award winning social enterprise Art on The Street.

2014 Parks Photo Comp – Old and New

In 2014 Bracknell Forest Council invited amateur photographers to get creative and find different ways to interpret the theme ‘Old and New’.

This annual exhibition comprises the best entries from the annual Parks Photo Competition and celebrates the fact there are a wealth of historic and new landscapes in the borough to explore and enjoy.

Parks Photo competition is organised by Bracknell Forest Council and sponsored by: Coral Reef, Bracknell Leisure Centre, The Look Out Discovery Centre

Revolting Rhymes: The Making

Following a week of costume making, set painting and a Drama production, South Hill Park presents an exhibition of the making of Revolting Rhymes.

A chance to see the costumes, set, and interviews with the cast and crew. Revolting Rhymes is a FREE workshop week for adults with learning disabilities sponsored by Bracknell Forest Council in association with South Hill Park.
