The Crossness Pumping Station was built by Sir Joseph Bazalgette as part of Victorian London's urgently needed main sewerage system.
Industrial heritage site
The site is open to visitors by appointment only on certain days of the year when the history of Crossness and a guided tour will be provided. At present visitors without an appointment cannot be admitted.

Children under 16: free - minimum age 8
Group bookings (5 or more) must be paid for in advance.
