The ethos of the gallery is to showcase work that reflects the cultural diversity of East London and its artistic community, one of the most vibrant urban areas in the world. Launching in January 2011 with a show from acclaimed African-American artist Ben Jones, the gallery's programme will feature one international show per year, showcases by young artists, collaborations with art world professionals and local art institutions.
