Learn how to be a ghost hunter, and get some tips on how to write your own ghostly tale with Jonathan Stroud, acclaimed author of the thrilling Lockwood & Co series, including his latest ‘The Screaming Staircase’. This exciting family event is aimed at potential ghost hunters and authors aged 9-12 and older. Come along - if you're brave enough to enter the library after closing time . . .

Discover the moving story held within the 'soft leather-bound diary' of Corporal Ernest Goodridge written during the battle of the Somme, followed by a creative writing workshop (13:00 - 15:00) where you'll draw inspiration from the themes and materials from the talk, including Ernest's diary.
