Brent Libraries provides a range of services and materials to meet the needs of Brent's diverse communities. You may borrow a wide selection of books, (in English & many other languages), audio books, e-books, read local and national newspapers and periodicals in paper format and online, find reference books, access online reference material and use quiet study spaces. Each of Brent's six libraries has free wi-fi and computers with free internet access.
We have regular courses and events in all our libraries for adults and children. Ask in libraries for more detail or visit our website.

I want to work in Africa

There is a lack of information and adequate resources to support professionals who are seeking to work in Africa. In particular for non-Africans and those of African descent who lack networks and contacts within the continent. There is little to help them understand how to make the move. This workshop will help covering; an overview of the African job market, the industries and professions in demand, how to put in place a winning strategy and write a compelling CV, making the right connections and finding a job in the competitive African job market.
