Heritage Open Days 2014: Claremont Landscape Garden & Belvedere Tower Opening

  • 13 September 2014

This eighteenth-century landscape garden is a green sanctuary in the heart of Surrey and within easy reach of London. There are acres of open space to explore, enjoy a picnic or take a walk. Having been the pleasure gardens of royalty, it has seen lots of fascinating characters in its time. It's a place where real princesses have spent hours playing and uncovering secret places. There are some really unique and unexpected things to see, including the turf amphitheatre, the serpentine lake, the pavilion, the grotto, the Belvedere Tower and the Camellia Terrace. No visit would be complete without popping into our cafe, where a tempting array of homemade cakes and light lunches is available. Our shop sells a selection of cards and gifts.

Please refer to the Heritage Open Days website for booking details and timings.
