The Garden was the Pleasure Grounds for Dukes, Duchesses, Princesses, Kings and Queens that lived in the Mansion. Now it is a 49 acre, 18th century landscape Garden offering peace and tranquillity in safe surroundings together with a level pathway around the serpentine lake and a unique turf amphitheatre. Visit Claremont and experience its beautiful and often surprising features, including the Belvedere Tower, Camellia Terrace, ‘wild’ animal statues and grotto.

Claremont Community Day
Chainsaw Carving, Archery, Birds of Prey, Morris Dancing and Live Music and lots, lots more. Enjoy a wide variety of demonstrations, trips to the island, traditional crafts and displays, throughout the day. Following on the success of last years Community Day, there will be something for all the famimily to enjoy from live music, displays, demonstration and have a go activities. A fun free day out for all the family (nominal charge for some activities). Timings of musical performances and displays will be published on the web the week before the event. A full programme of activities will be available from the kiosk on the day.

Father's Day at Claremont

Birds of Prey Day
An opportunity to see a wide variety of birds of prey including eagles, hawks, falcons and owls in the setting of an eighteenth century landscape garden. Get up close to see and learn more about these magnificent birds plus two flying displays during the day at 12noon and 3pm.
Please note the times of the flying displays are subject to change depending on the weather conditions but will be displayed at the kiosk on the day. Static display throughout the day plus two flying displays at 12noon and 3pm (subject to weather conditions)

National Gardens Scheme Day
Garden is open in aid of the NGS with a FREE Guided Walk with one of the Gardens Team. Learn how we look after our garden, and pick up some useful tips for yours. The garden is open in support of the National Gardens Scheme and all entrance money will be donated towards the charity it supports. FREE Guided Walk at 2pm with a member of the Claremont Garden Team.
