This unusual and atmospheric property was built c.1550 as a hunting lodge and added to in the 1790s. It stands high on the edge of a 40-ft cliff with outstanding views.

From its Tudor origins to today, Newark House contains elements reflecting 450 years of history. The atmospheric house feels lived in and is furnished with an eclectic mix of old and modern. Outside you can enjoy a game of croquet on the lawn, or explore the lower gardens and the Newark Park estate walks with stunning views over the Cotswold countryside.

We host exhibitions on the top floor of Newark House, where you can also find our second hand book sales.For children there are house quizzes as well as a room with dressing up and puzzles.
