Palace Stables Heritage Centre

Restored 1770 Georgian stables block set in the Palace Demesne. The Heritage Centre is located beside the Primate's Palace, formerly the home of the Archbishop of the Church of Ireland until the 1970's. Experience 18th Century life through guided tours of a 'Day in the Life' exhibition and the Primate's Chapel and grounds. Living History interpreters re-enact Georgian life in 1786. Visitors are welcome to chat with the Georgian characters to get a fuller picture of life in a bygone world.

Tours during the Summer Season are available that tells you the story of the Demesne through Living History Interpretation. Costumed interpreters recreate both the grandeur and the squalor of the Georgian period..
