The LMHA is a registered charitable trust founded in 1989, dedicated to the study of local history within living memory. It holds a considerable archive of artefacts and ephemera, mainly of the Second World War period. This material is made available to the public through exhibitions, school loans and through audio visual presentations to groups from all age ranges.

Opening hours

The Main Exhibtion based on life in the Cotswolds in World War Two opens annually from May to October with other activities including school and group visits at other times by seperate arrangement. The exhibition area includes the Hospital Annexe and the former Air Raid Shelter. Normal opening to the public Sat 10.30-4.30.
