Preston Hall Museum - 01642 781184.
Set in acres of rolling parkland, Preston Hall Museum is best known for its Victorian Street and its many period rooms, giving a glimpse of domestic life in the area over the years.
It has an impressive display of weaponry in its cellars, and also houses Stockton's most famous painting, the Dice Players by Georges de la Tour.
Green Dragon Museum - 01642 393938.
Nestling among the narrow cobbled alleyways and historic warehouses of old Stockton, the Green Dragon Museum, with its period schoolroom, has given many local school children the opportunity to discover what it was like to go to school in Victorian times.
The museum also houses the Focus photography gallery which provides a showcase venue for a wide range of photographic exhibitions.
Billingham Art Gallery - 01642 397590.
Billingham Art Gallery is situated in the Town Centre and offers an exciting selection of art to suit all tastes.
As well as providing a lively forum for local artists to exhibit their work, the gallery also provides a programme of art classes and workshops for adults and is available for schools to do project work. Sessions for school groups can be pre-booked.

Stockton Library Service -
Stockton Borough Libraries is a division of Cultural Services, providing library services to all who live, work or study in the Borough of Stockton-on-Tees.
Services provided include Community Libraries, a Reference Library, a Mobile Library, a Book Bus and a Housebound Reader's Service, Children and Youth Services, an Ethnic Library Service, trolley rounds at North Tees Hospital and a Prison Library Service.
We have an Open Technology Centre located within the Central Library building and all of our Community Libraries are UK Online Centres providing free access to the Internet and many more computer applications.
