All information is drawn from or provided by the venues themselves and every effort is made to ensure it is correct. Please remember to double check opening hours with the venue concerned before making a special visit.

A&A makes available online and free of charge over 40,000 images from the Courtauld's collections: all the Courtauld's world-famous collections of paintings (over 500 works) all of its hitherto largely unseen collections of drawings (nearly 7,000 works), and over 22,000 photographs of architecture and 11,000 photographs of sculpture from its Conway library.

A&A launched in December last year – the largest arts project funded under the Government’s New Opportunities Fund “Digitise” Programme. The Good Web Guide recently described A&A thus: "It is beautifully designed and the level of information that it offers is breathtaking. The site aims to become the nation's principal digital learning resource for the visual arts and it looks to be there already."

Rather than just being an image library we run regular monthly updates of stories and competitions based on the Courtauld's collections. Past authors include Wayne Hemingway on affordable housing, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen on paintings as wallpaper, ENO's stage manager Laura Thatcher on theatre sets, a rare interview with Britain's best-selling artist Jack Vettriano, and meteorologist Ian James on Constable's cloud sketches.

We will shortly launch a print on demand service through which almost all the 40,000 images will be available to order online as photographic prints with next day delivery. Prices start at £1 for a 7"x5" up to £20 for an A3 poster.
