Deadline - a talk by Barbara Nadel

Barbara Nadel created the popular Turkish detective Cetin Ikmen and has drawn on her personal knowledge of the country to transport the reader into his world. She has also written a wartime crime series set in London, featuring undertaker Francis Hancock. She has also recently embarked on a modern crime series set in the East End of London

Bridge Berwick Upon Tweed

Coast to Coast on the Ravenber Way

Ron Scholes was a great friend of Alfred Wainwright and was inspired by him to devise his own long distance route from Ravenglass in Cumbria to Berwick on Tweed in Northumberland. The walk takes him through the mountains, moorlands and meadows of Northern England along public rights of way. The talk is illustrated with stunning photography of views along the way.
