Denbigh Castle was built as part of Edward I's 13th-century campaigns against the Welsh. Its finest feature is its striking triple-towered great gatehouse. The town walls are also of great interest.
Denbigh Castle is in the guardianship of CADW but managed by Denbighshire County Council whilst open.
