Ruthin Gaol opened in May 2002. The building was a prison from 1654 to 1916 and you can now see how prisoners lived their daily lives and how the prison worked. Audio guide included in admission price, souvenir shop and school workshops available.

Wear your winter pyjamas, slippers & dressing gown and bring your teddy, enjoy a glass of milk and a cookie whilst joining in with our story time at the Gaol and Archives.
