The emsource website, www.emsource.org.uk has been developed in close consultation with the School of Education at University of Nottingham and aims to provide teachers with free archive resources for use in the classroom. The existing emsource site currently contains nearly 200 items drawn from local archive, museum and library collections that relate to World War Two in the East Midlands. Accompanying this are five Key Stage 2 and 3 learning topics with teachers' notes, links to the National Curriculum, suggested teaching activities and downloadable worksheets. Work is in progress to develop new learning packages and these should be available in March 2005.
