Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre and Country Park is a unique day out for all the family. Re-live this famous turning point in British history - the death of a King and the birth of the all powerful Tudor dynasty.

From February 1st the Exhibition Centre will be open from 10am - 4pm every day of the week, still at 2014 prices.

Additional info

Access around the Heritage Centre is suitable for wheelchair users.
Access around the Battlefield Trail and Country Park may be difficult for some people.

We have one mobility scooter and two wheelchairs that can be used for free by visitors, but pre-booking is highly recommended!

Bosworth Battlefield guided walks

A 2km (1.25 mile) guided walk exploring the Battle of Bosworth, the death of King Richard III and the unlikely victory of Henry Tudor.

Walks are at 11:00 and 14:00.

The Bosworth Roman temple

Find out about the discovery of a Roman temple near the Battlefield Visitors Centre. Recorded with the help of many volunteers during the survey work to find the battlefield, it's a prime example of how volunteers provided vital assistance to archaeologists in what is a nationally important find.

Wider Bosworth battlefield walk

Experienced walkers with a penchant for history can join our expert guides and enjoy Bosworth Battlefield's extended 7.5 mile (12k) walk looking at all aspects of the environment of this pivotal War of the Roses battle.

No dogs allowed. Please provide your own lunch and refreshments. For experienced walkers over 12 years of age.
