Discover Godolphin, one of the most fashionable houses in Cornwall in the 17th century. Long since abandoned, you can soak up the atmosphere of peace and antiquity as you explore this romantic home.
Wander around the 16th century garden, one of the most important historic gardens in Europe. It has barely changed over the years.

National Garden Scheme Day
Godolphin's famous Side Garden, is possibly the most ancient surviving formal garden in the country, at almost 700 years old. The King's Garden, named after the 1646 visit by the Prince of Wales, later King Charles II, is a sheltered haven for visitors. Visit Godolphin's garden on this day, and the entry proceeds go to the National Garden Scheme.
