Discover is an amazing place for children and families from 0 - 11 years old to play and create stories. Focused on storytelling, children can let their imaginations run wild in the indoor Story Trail or venture outside into the Story Garden. Follow the Story Trail from the Lollipopter through to the Sparkly River, over the Trip Trap Bridge and through the caves. Dress up, make puppets and hold your own show and create your own stories with the help of the story-builders.

Secret Agents - Spy Academy

  • 15 February — 31 August 2014 *on now

An interactive family exhibition for ages 6+ (Younger brothers and sisters are welcome, content has been specifically devised for over 6s)

The devious Dr Iscove has used the good Professor Irene Bop’s brilliant mind to create a treasure teleporting machine. He has stolen treasure from around the world, from the Louvre to the Crown Jewels in the Tower of London. His next mega-theft is to steal the pocket money of everybody on the planet.

We have to stop him before it's too late and recover the treasure teleporting machine. You have been carefully selected for this mission but first you must attend our elite Secret Agent training academy. Beyond its doors is a labyrinth of clues and adventure. Read everything, observe everything - clues can come in any order and in all shapes and sizes.

Master surveillance techniques, unlock codes, dodge laser beams, learn how to make yourself invisible and all the special skills to complete your mission.

Be warned - time is running out!
