Lutterworth archaeology day

  • 25 July 2015 10am-4pm

Morning and afternoon presentations about Tripontium Roman settlement and Shawell Iron Age/Roman settlement. Presentations and displays for the test pit programme in Lutterworth. The Group will be digging a test pit at Lutterworth Carnival on 4th July and will showcase all finds at the archaeology day. Visual historical timeline for Lutterworth. Opportunity for the local people to bring in garden finds for identification. Display of finds from the Fieldwalking group.
