Grace Ndiritu - A Return to Normalcy

  • 2 October — 12 December 2015 *on now

A solo show by Grace Ndiritu, including a specially commissioned new film of a performance staged at The Glasgow School of Art (GSA). This show is part of the Turner Prize fringe programme across the city.

This is Ndiritu's first major solo show since 2007 in the UK and the UK debut of Ndiritu's wider practice of painting and photography. A Return to Normalcy is a symbolic celebration of a new working phase for both the artist and The Mackintosh Building.

It is a transformation for both artist and building and is set to energetically and symbolically transform the GSA from a classical art school into a contemporary New Age architectural icon, worthy of Mackintosh’s own esoteric spiritual belief system.
