The Sir Jules Thorn Exhibition, adjacent to the Playfair Hall, is a display illustrating the scope of modern surgery. It includes examples of the surgical specialties. The Exhibition also describes the History of Surgery and Edinburgh’s special contribution to surgical practice from ancient to modern times.
