Trial Imminent - Guided Walk
From Elephants and Angels to Death Rays and Mushrooms - a guided tour through one of the most significant military test sites of the 20th Century and specialising in the history of the period. Will include some transport and access to a number of areas not normally open to the public.

This event is extremely popular and early booking is strongly advised.
Bring own food and drink. Wear clothing suitable for the weather. Binoculars useful.
Involves ferry crossing - must be able to negotiate steep and sometimes slippery steps. Mostly made up paths, some uneven, and 1/4 mile shingle track.
Due to limited availability no reductions for children are available. Limited to 24 places. Depart approximately 4.00pm but may be later depending on progress of group.

Overnight photography tour
A very special chance to photograph Orford Ness in the morning and evening light, with the rest of Saturday available to continue photographing up until the last ferry off the Ness at 5pm. You will be guided and supervised by wardens from the site and a professional photographer who has been photographing the site for many years. Their combined knowledge and experience will help you get the most out of the trip by offering historical knowledge of the site and creative and technical advice.

Bring food and bedding for your stay a fully equipped shared kitchen is available. Accommodation is in shared bunkhouse rooms. Dress for sudden weather changes. Only bring equipment you can carry.
