Whether it’s working with artists to celebrate the local visual arts scene or presenting national exhibitions, the LBT’s exhibition programme is fresh, dynamic and ever-surprising.

With a changing programme of exhibitions throughout the year, we add to the mix of visual arts offered throughout the area. No matter if you like figurative or abstract painting, sculpture or installation art, every time you visit there will be something exciting, inspiring and thought-provoking for you to see.

The LBT offers studio space to local artists so they can develop their work in a creative and inspiring environment. Our five current artists in residence are Anna Connor, Barbara Hellowell, Beverley Addy, Kerry Mosley and Yvonne Roberts. Our artists have an open door policy, pop in to their studios any time and they’ll be more than happy to show you their current work in progress.
