You'll find plenty to fill your day out at the National Museum of Rural Life. We've got pigs, sheep, cows, horses and hens, as well as an award-winning museum, historic farmhouse and wide open fields. The sights, sounds and smells of Wester Kittochside Farm give you a real sense of life in the countryside. Each season there's something new - lambing, sowing, harvesting, hay-making...

Halloween in the Country

  • 31 October 2014 5-9pm

Join in the spooky fun on this, the scariest night of the year! Take part in apple dooking, scary trails and lots of spirited activities.

Free, no need to book. Children under 12 to be accompanied by an adult.

Autumn Stargazing

  • 12 November 2014 7-9pm

Try your eye for astronomy with the Clydesdale Astronomical Society (weather permitting) and find out what the heavens have to offer this autumn. You are welcome to bring your own binoculars or telescopes and ask for advice on how to operate them.
