This visitor centre is dedicated to the rich industrial heritage of Middlesbrough. One of the powerhouses of the industrial northeast, the town was a major player in the Industrial Revolution, and especially shipping.
The visitor centre promotes the history of the bridge and surrounding area through the use of graphic panels, video, computers, photographs, objects and models.
